Tatyana received her doctorate in occupational therapy from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in 2022. She is a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association. Tatyana has clinical experience in pediatric home health, school based therapy services and in outpatient clinics; where she has worked with the pediatric population. Prior to OT school, Tatyana knew that she wanted to be apart of a profession that would positively impact others and help improve their quality of life and independence. She also knew that she wanted to work with children and young adults. During school Tatyana recalls being told to keep an open mind because she may enjoy working with adults or or the elderly. Tatyana kept an open mind, but after her two clinical rotations (one in outpatient orthopedics and one in outpatient pediatrics), she knew for sure, pediatrics was going to be the population she would dedicate her career to. Tatyana enjoys working with the pediatric population because of the resilience children show when receiving therapeutic services. She has fun utilizing her creativity to make therapy fun for children. She also loves to build positive relationships with families assisting them every step of the way.

When not at work, Tatyana really enjoys all things outdoors and often spends time kayaking with her family, camping, traveling, biking in the everglades or spending time at the beach. She loves the environment and is always making conscious efforts to keep our environment clean and is always making efforts to cut down on unnecessary waste. Tatyana has been to 11 countries and over half of the states in the US.
