I choose to become a physical therapist in my junior year of High School.  I was part of a career day and loved the therapy department.  I did not decide to do pediatrics until I did a clinical experience during my PT program and decided that was the path I wanted to take.  I wanted to be able to help children and young people grow and develop to their potential. I love the pediatric community because they are fun, imaginative, vibrant, love to explore and enjoy play. I love to play so it is a perfect match with the children.  I enjoy working with families and helping parents or caregivers learn and assist their children in maximizing their child’s abilities. I have worked in a variety of environments with the pediatric population with a wide span of children with special abilities over the last 30 years.

When I am not working I love spending time with my husband and family exploring Florida other states and countries, going to the beach, training for and running 10K or 1/2 Marathons, scuba diving, going to baseball games, reading, and whatever else comes our way.
