Sabrina chose to become an Occupational Therapist Assistant because it’s a career that serves an important role in society by supporting people to complete daily tasks. Sabrina receives much fulfillment from knowing she plays just a small role in helping people live fulfilling lives. Sabrina’s favorite part about being an Occupational Therapist Assistant is getting the opportunity to focus on treating the whole patient, rather than treating a particular injury, ailment, or disability. Sabrina mostly loves working in the pediatric field helping children gain independence while also strengthening the development of fine motor skills, sensory-motor skills, and visual motor skills that children need to function and socialize. Sabrina loves being able to have an opportunity to make a significant lasting impact on the lives of her patients. While also helping instill skills that will allow children and youth to grow into successful, self-sufficient adults. Sabrina is particularly experienced with working in pediatric settings. Assisting children with physical, emotional, or behavioral problems by encouraging them to get involved in pleasant activities. Sabrina is
strongly educated in a wide variety of disorders; ADHD, ASD, cerebral palsy, down syndrome etc.

Sabrina is compassionate with a gentle demeanor and well-developed communication skills to support patient progress. When she is not at work Sabrina loves to hang out with friends and family usually out eating at a restaurant. As she loves to try new foods and explore new places to eat. Sabrina enjoys hosting game nights and can be very competitive. She loves watching re-runs of Friends while cuddling with her dog. When Sabrina finds time she can spend hours reading romantic novels.
