Missy Frey is an experienced occupational therapist with specialized training in Sensory Integration (SI), DIR/Floortime and therapeutic listening programs.  She is dedicated to helping children improve self-awareness, self-confidence and self-esteem.  Missy combines a holistic and nurturing approach to help children achieve optimal independent functioning in all environments. In utilizing her knowledge, creativity and therapeutic use of self, Missy generates a unique and child-specific treatment plan that addresses the whole child and family.

A graduate of Touro College, New York in 2001, she earned a Master of Science degree in Occupational Therapy, Missy now has more than 22 years of experience in pediatric treatment with children of all ages. She has provided occupational therapy in many different settings and environments from Hippotherapy, home-based, school based and center-based therapy. Missy has extensive training in Sensory Motor Integration, Visual Motor Interventions, Handwriting Without Tears and Brain Gym.   Drawing from an extensive knowledge of pediatric occupational therapy, Missy develops stimulating treatment programs that empower and teach children and their families to use therapeutic strategies in their daily lives so they can build a strong foundation on which to learn and grow.
