Maria Laura (ML) knew she always had a calling for rehabilitation from a young age. Her younger brother was born with Down Syndrome. Growing up along his side, she was fascinated by how much his therapies improved engagement in his everyday life. ML pursued her Masters of Occupational Therapy at Nova Southeastern University. She is passionate about the pediatric population and believes that every child is unique and talented in their own way. She is patient, kind and understanding as she knows what it’s like to grow up with a special someone in your life. She has experience working with developmental delays, early intervention, Autism spectrum disorder and  more.

When she’s not at work, ML is usually at the beach or outdoors enjoying some fresh air. She also enjoys traveling, and spending time with her family and fur babies Sienna, Wubbie and Dewy.
