Jessica James is a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant and a true Floridan, born and raised in South Florida. Jessica graduated from South University in 2018 with an Associates of Science degree in Occupational Therapy.
Jessica has experienced a variety of settings during her studies such as in-patient and out-patient rehabs for adults, private and public-school settings for pediatric, and mental health facilities. She has also experienced clients with various conditions such as autism, ADD/ADHD, Cerebral Palsy, Learning Disabilities, FXS, Down syndrome, etc. Jessica has worked for the School District of Palm Beach County for over 13 years with multi-age elementary school students. Working as paraprofessional/behavioral specialist, and a certified counselor. She has worked in a variety of classroom settings during the school year and summer school.
Jessica has a passion for working with the pediatric population. She truly uses her therapeutic use of self when it comes to working with her clients and their families. She is dedicated to her clients that she works with and has a creative, positive, fun, professional manner about her. Jessica continues to take educational courses to broaden her clinical knowledge in pediatric field.
