From time to time as humans we may encounter many challenges that affects us in many different ways. For children life stressors or severe life experiences can affect both emotional and mental overall wellbeing. Stephanie's greatest passion is being able to help every child overcome obstacles that may prevent them from reaching their maximum potential through everyday therapeutic use of daily activities.
She has experience with treating adults in the geriatric population that may be exposed to numerous conditions such as: Parkinson’s disease, Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), Alzheimer's- Dementia, Hip Fractures, Arrhythmia/Heart disease, Diabetes, Fall Prevention, Arthritis, Bipolar disorder and Schizophrenia. Stephanie also has experience with children birth to age 21, with various diagnoses such as ADD/ADHD, Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Learning Disabilities, Genetic Abnormalities, Developmental Delay and much more.
Stephanie is very open to exploring and implementing different approaches to ensure the best quality of care for every individual. She has intensive training in Sensory Integration, PNF/NDT, Functional Electrical Stimulation and Ultrasound. Stephanie continues to expand her clinical knowledge with implementing modern evidence based practices that best fit each individual need, especially with working along with Little Champs Therapy and Yoga.
Stephanie graduated from Keiser university in 2016 with an Associates degree in Occupational Therapy. Throughout her undergraduate studies, she has volunteered at the Veterans Affairs, Outpatient hands clinics, Outpatient Rehabilitation/Habilitation facility, and Extended Pediatric Intensive Daycares in order to gain experience and grow within her profession. She is also a Certified Registered Behavioral Technician and in the year of 2020 to earn her Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy. Stephanie strives to find the uniqueness of each child to communicate effectively with families along with other multi-disciplinaries to ensure that each child is given the appropriate tools in reaching their goals.
