Monique is a Jersey girl, born and raised, who moved down to Florida for her love of year round beach weather. During her undergrad years at the University of Delaware, she worked as a rehab aide at a local PT clinic. She worked closely with the PTs who quickly became her mentors, and her interest in therapy bloomed. After receiving her bachelors degree in exercise science in 2012, Monique continued on to graduate school for physical therapy at New York Medical College. Her last clinical took place in a pediatric setting, working with kids of all ages in the outpatient and inpatient setting, as well as with newborns in the NICU. She loved working with children and the challenge to incorporate play with physical therapy. After graduating from PT school in 2015, she moved down to south Florida to escape the cold winters. She has worked with kids from all over the world. She enjoys learning their different languages and cultures, and ultimately helping kids and their families achieve their goals.
