Julie’s love for speech therapy began when she would observe therapists at her father’s school, where he was principal. She was inspired and began working with children at a behavioral center in Orlando. After graduating from the University of Central Florida, she worked in the school system and pediatric clinics in Orlando, then in Boca Raton for over 13 years.

Her interests and specialties include autism spectrum disorder, articulation disorders, oral phase feeding/sensory difficulties, and accent modification.  Julie teaches caregivers and children that opportunities to communicate are embedded in daily activities and their environment.

Julie loves to explore Florida’s land and sea with her husband and three children. She also enjoys volunteering locally on weekends.
