Carrie has been an SLP for 6 years. She went back to school for her Masters degree at Florida Atlantic University when her children were ages 2 and 4. Carrie’s son who is now 14 years old is on the Autism Spectrum and has taught her how to look at the world in a different way. Every child is so different in the way that they learn to communicate and as an SLP, discovering what works for each child is such a reward. Carrie has worked in a Broward County Preschool specialized for children with developmental and other disabilities. She has extensive work experience with children on the Autism Spectrum, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome and other developmental disabilities. She is passionate about working with children in early language development and Autism Spectrum disorders.
