Bethany is a passionate therapist who found her love working with children at a young age. Her first job in high-school, working as an activity coordinator planted a passion in her for working with children. Bethany served as a flight attendant for several years but left the airline industry to pursue a career path that was more meaningful to her - Occupational Therapy. Bethany graduated and became a certified occupational therapy assistant in 2015. She has worked in several states including Texas, New York, Massachusetts, and Florida providing her with a culturally rich clientele, treating individuals of all ages. Bethany is enthusiastic about bettering herself to be the best therapist she can be in order to better serve her clients. Next year, she will be starting her Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy and hopes to one day also become a Certified Autism Specialist and to earn her NDT certification. Bethany’s goal is to facilitate a warm caring environment for your child where the child feels that the session is “play” instead of “work.” She incorporates a variety of therapeutic approaches in her sessions and aims to be client centered, adapting herself and the therapeutic intervention to best serve the client based on what he or she responds to. Bethany intends to embrace a holistic approach focusing on what is truly most meaningful to the client and their family. In her spare time, Bethany enjoys reading, cooking, outdoor activities, hiking, yoga, meditation, watching Netflix, attending events at her church, and of course spending time with her husband, family, friends, and her little mischievous dog, Jarvis.
