Alyssa O’Dea, SLPA, has a bachelors degree in psychology and speech language pathology. She has several years experience educating children on the autism spectrum, as a teacher in schools, a private behavioral aide, and a tutor. She duels as a speech language pathologist assistant and a learning specialist leading a kindergarten preparatory play group for at risk children. She specializes and has a passion for play therapy. Using techniques and methods from DIR Floor-time therapy and The Play Project, Alyssa focuses on emotional development in our little ones. She bases her techniques on Stanley Greenspan’s six developmental capacities that lay the foundation for all future learning and development.
