Shanaia chose to become a physical therapist assistant because she always had a passion for healing, starting out as a CNA and working her way up. Shanaia loves working in the healthcare field, the fact that she can work in a field with all ages and is able to see the progress in her contribution to her patients healing amazes her. Shanaia is a recent graduate and is willing and ready to dive in and get all the experience she can.

When she is not at work she is usually spending time with her one year old daughter, taking walks and going to the park. Her hobbies include doing makeup, doing hair and eating seafood with her sister/best friend. Cruising is her favorite way to vacation, its something about that all you can eat. Also she is currently learning how to cook so learning new recipes excite her!
