Laura became a Physical Therapist Assistant because she has always valued wellness and enjoys helping others. Being able to stay active at work is a huge bonus, and she found that the pediatric therapy field suits her best because of her special connection to children. Laura respects childrens’ honesty and resilience, and meets each and every one of them on their own terms during sessions. It is her personal mission to have all clients view physical therapy as an enjoyable and curative experience. Laura graduated from the PTA program at Broward College and uses her continuing education courses to learn as much as she can about the diverse challenges her clients face.

When she is not working, Laura is spending time with her family and her dog Zuzu. She loves to drink coffee, bake, read, and practice yoga, though not necessarily in that order. She is often seen cheering on her children at the soccer field or dance performances, and if there is any time left over, she enjoys volunteering at their school.
