I first started to become interested in this field back in high school. I would go to my local Nursing Home and volunteer in their therapy department. I would be fascinated by how they were able to improve someone’s quality of life by teaching them how to use their muscles to regain strength and function. I graduated in 2010 from South University in West Palm Beach as a Physical Therapist Assistant. I worked with the geriatric community for ten years and decided I wanted to widen my spectrum and challenge myself with working with a different age group. I entered an out-patient clinic in which I saw my first pediatric patient. I quickly fell in love with giving kids therapy and decided I wanted to focus on the pediatric community. I really am loving working with kids and further expanding my career knowledge.
