Anissa is a SLPA who graduated from the University of Central Florida in 2017 and received her certificate in Communication Sciences and Disorder at Florida International University in 2019. Anissa is currently furthering her studies and pursuing a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology at FIU. She has clinical experience working with a range of ages from pediatrics to adults. She chose this field because she enjoys improving the quality of life of both children and adults who are experiencing difficulties. Anissa believes communication is an essential component to human life and with the unique differences in each client she wants to find ways to make communication accessible in all modalities. She has been able to impact the lives of clients and their families and plans to do so through Speech-Language Pathology.
When not at work, she loves spending time with family, skating, traveling, and dancing. Anissa also spends a lot of time event planning on the weekends.
